Set the Challenge: You are going to:

b) design a sports shirt

What next

Provide the group with key data/prices to support their decision-making. Include dilemmas - will they buy more expensive fair trade cotton? How many shirts will they be able to make? Where will the shirts be made? What will be the pay/working conditions for their workers? What impact will their product have on the environment?

Finally

Each group will present their decisions and designs. What compromises will need to be made? What comes first - profit, planet or people? How does their product align with the values of their company, agreed at the beginning.
